Demarcus Hendricks played varsity football at Wagner High School in San Antonio, TX. He received AP All-State Honorable Mention and was selected to the First Team All-District as a Junior. As DE, he recorded 175 total tackles and 55 solo over 37 games with an impressive 99.0 of those being tackles for a loss.  He notched 27 sacks, seven interceptions and five fumble recoveries.  His impressive high school achievements led him to be ranked a three-star recruit by 247 sports and committed to Texas A&M Kingsville for his college career. 

He made his Texas A&M Kingsville debut in 2022 playing in 12 games and recorded 37 tackles (19 solo, 18 assisted) including 9 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, and forced two fumbles. In 2023, Demarcus snagged his first interception against Texas Permian Basin and had a breakout season in 2024.  In 2024, he appeared in 11 games, ranked third on the team with 46 total tackles and ranked first with 15 tackles for a loss.  Demarcus led the team in sacks with 7.5 for 52 yards and forced nine quarterback hurries and two fumbles.  Dominant on defense and on special teams, he recovered two fumbles, blocked a kick, and recorded three pass break-ups. 

In 2025, Demarcus entered the transfer portal and committed to Arkansas State for his final year. Demarcus had a breakout season in 2025 being named to the First-Team All-Sun Belt, was named Conference Defensive Player of the Week (11/3) and finished with 53 total tackles (18 solo, 35 assisted). He led the team with 8.5 sacks for 62 yards and logged in 13.5 tackles for a loss of 70 yards. Coming off his First-Team All-Sun Belt Honors, Demarcus is an impressive NFL prospect known for his versatility and ability to align at multiple edge positions. At 6'2" 246 pounds, Demarcus is a powerful DE that has speed, agility, is quick at reading the play and is a trusted DE eager to stop any offensive run. With his ability to make plays on defense and special teams, Demarcus is "one to watch" in the upcoming NFL Draft. With an ever-growing fan base and national exposure, Demarcus' marketability makes him an ideal candidate for future brand partnerships and collaborations.
