Player Above Sports Group ("PASG") was founded by Super Bowl Champion and All-Pro Safety TJ Ward and veteran sports manager Markeese LaVette. Their longtime friendship and expertise in sports business sparked their drive to build PASG to help create a roadmap of long-term success for their clients that has eluded professional athletes and the sports management business for decades. 

TJ has experienced and achieved the highest accolades a professional athlete can attain as a PAC-10 Champion at Oregon, having his name called early in the NFL Draft, being named All-Pro, signing lucrative veteran contracts, helping the Broncos lead the “No Fly Zone” Defense and becoming a Super Bowl Champion with the Broncos at Super Bowl 50. As a professional athlete who lived through those high peaks, he also witnessed empty promises from teams and managers as well as friends and teammates mired in financial distress due to a lack of professional oversight, planning and execution. 

During his NFL tenure, TJ formed a close friendship with Markeese while he was helping manage and represent lottery picks, rookies and veterans in the NBA and NFL. Together, TJ and Markeese learned valuable lessons from both athlete and sports management perspectives, culminating in their desire to change the sports management game by helping to ensure long-term financial success for all of their clients.
