As a multi-talented athlete, Julius Loughridge played varsity football and track and field at Mayde Creek High School in Houston, TX. As team captain, his speed, agility, and versatility led him to earn Two-Time District Offensive MVP, Unanimous First Team All-District Selection and finalist for the Houston Touchdown Club Award. Finishing his high school at Mayde Creek, he earned impressive rankings for rushing yards: #70 in Texas, #13 Texas Division 6A, #2 6A Region III District 19 and #271 Nationally. 

Julius began his college career at Fordham University and dominated his performance on the field. In his sophomore year, he led the team with rushing touchdowns, recorded five 100-yard rushing games, and gained 940 yards on 131 carries with a team-high eight touchdowns. He had a breakout junior year becoming the fourth player in Fordham history to rush for more than 1,000 yards in a season, was Named to the 2023 Phil Steele All-Patriot League Team, ranked #4 in the Patriot League and #11 in the NCAA FCS for rushing yards per game (104.2), and ranked #3 in the Patriot League and #23 in the NCAA FCS for rushing touchdowns. He is a Two-Time First Team All-Patriot selected player, became the fourth Ram to record multiple 1,000 yard rushing seasons, recorded 3,005 career rushing yards earning him fifth all-time at Fordham while scoring 26 career touchdowns. His production and efficiency earned national recognition, including placement on the Walter Payton Award Watch List, which honors the top offensive players in FCS football. 

In 2025, Julius entered the transfer portal as a graduate from Fordham and committed to South Dakota State University (SDSU) for his final year of eligibility and had another breakout performance. Earning another 1,000 rushing yard season at SDSU with seven touchdowns, Julius has emerged as a strong NFL Draft prospect known for his speed, impressive contact balance, solid-pass catching ability and strength making him hard to bring down. Julius is a 6'0" 215 pound explosive running back that has been named "one to watch" in the upcoming NFL Draft. With an ever-growing fan base and national exposure, Julius' marketability makes him an ideal candidate for future brand partnerships and collaborations.
