Zach Conner is a native of the Dallas–Fort Worth area, growing up in Mansfield, Texas. He began his career in college basketball as a Student Manager at Texas Christian University, where he spent four years working under Head Coach Jamie Dixon. Following his undergraduate studies, Zach continued to build his experience at the University of Memphis, serving as a Graduate Assistant for Coach Penny Hardaway. 

Following a 29-6 season that resulted in an outright conference championship, Zach was hired as an Assistant Coach at Ranger Junior College in West Texas. He was instrumental in the development of 3 Division 1 athletes and helping lead the team to the Region 5 Tournament, while finishing his master’s degree remote at the University of Memphis, receiving a Masters in Sports Management and Hospitality. 

In addition to his collegiate coaching background, Zach also works with Under Armour’s grassroots basketball circuit, where he serves as an event and operations assistant, further broadening his knowledge and network within the sport. Zach brings a strong foundation in player development, program operations, as well as brand and player relationships.
